School Programs

Greetings! The 2019-2020 ski season is upon us!!

Our school group rate is $42.00 including GST & PST ($10.00 for ski rentals & $32.00 for lift tickets) or $52.00 for Snowboard rental and lift ticket. We are pleased with the success of our chair lift, and are looking forward to our fifteenth year. It has proven to be invaluable with beginners, complimenting the school program because of its ease of use. Instruction is available by CERTIFIED LEVEL I INSTRUCTORS and is also included in the above price. Also for every 20 students, one supervisor will ski for free! Our lessons are not restricted to 1 hour and will go all morning and into the afternoon for those who need extra help.

SKI VALLEY has been a “Canada West Ski Area Association” member for over 30 years, and “Canadian Ski Patrol” or a St. John’s Ambulance member will be on duty. A hold punch system on the lift tickets has been introduced and may be implemented so the teachers and supervisors are aware of where their students belong on the hill according to their ability. Helmets are available for the school program, included in the price. Ski Valley has 200 sets of rentals and can handle groups up to 120 comfortably, so that boot sizes are easily managed.

We also have snowboard instruction available, but students should be aware that most beginners do not make it off the beginner slope, and an extra fee of $10 is required. Smaller groups are more than welcome, but may be booked with another small group. Also, pre-booked January dates can easily be re-scheduled for a February/March date if the weather is uncooperative. If you are interested in booking a ski school program and arranging a day or two, please phone or fax us to set up a date as soon as possible.

We Ask that students watch the Canada West Ski Association School Video –  Gravity  before arriving at Ski Valley.

See you on the slopes!
